Thursday Speed Sessions


The sessions are led by a qualified coach with the aim of improving fitness, strength and stamina.  They are for all abilities since the session structure means that everyone works together.  Sessions vary from week to week but include hill training, intervals, fartlek and paarlauf.
We will alternate between track (at Carnegie Sports Centre running track) and road sessions (at Holt Park Active).
We meet at 7.20pm to start at 7.30pm.

12 x 2 mins on road (Long Causeway)

Intervals ‘pyramid’ session (track)

Fartlek session on road (Long Causeway)



Now that the darker evenings are here again, we will alternate between track and road sessions. Track sessions are held at Leeds Beckett University Headingley Campus.
