Welcome to Abbey Runners
During the National Lockdown, in line with EA guidance, we’re sorry to say our socially distanced have been suspended. We hope to be back as soon as we can, and in the meantime don’t let your running shoes gather dust. There are plenty of trails and pavements to pound.
You’ve arrived at the online home of Abbey Runners, the north Leeds club for runners of all abilities and all ages. Abbey Runners has something for every runner: our members take part in road running, cross-country, fell, trail and triathlon.
We meet on Tuesdays @7.30pm on or around Holt Park Active to run and train in ability based groups for about an hour. We also have a thriving Juniors Section. We participate in the PECO Cross Country League and stage our own races each year including Hollybank Eccup 10, and the Golden Acre Relay
So whether you want to get fit or fitter, train hard or train harder, or if you just want a social, friendly run with like-minded people, why not come and try Abbey Runners.
